  1. can someone describe to this newbie thumbs just hot to place and snap on the windstop clip. Thanks for someplace to ask. I did figure part of the old shaft was still in the pivot hole, so I drilled it out and one two snap it went in and was repaired. Thanks again

  2. zlawman,2001 seal grey boxster, tiptronic: While taking the windstop off to clean it,I turned the articulating clip in the wrong direction and it snapped off. Cai it be repaired without replacing the entire frame. If so what is the part # or if not, the part # for the entire frame.

    Thanks

Coming break. Check out ebay...they are on there dirt cheap. Grab and extra set, you'll need them. I'm sure they cannot be fixed in all cases. Mine required for me to lightly drill out the old post still in the pivot point. I take my out when I put my hard top on for the winter and I'm sure I'll do it again!

shawn how are these parts listed? There were only 2 full windstops on ebay at +++$$$

Shawn; Called the local Porsche dealer he said they list at $3.88 each (out of stock) He'll call when they come in

  3. Maybe I'm not understanding what part your broke but the pivot/latch clips are on there for on $10 plus shipping, but I guess price is relative to the buyer! I'm cheap and I think they are cheap.

If I'm allowed to post another person ebay add here is the link to what I am talking about. SEE THIS LINK

  6. Got 4 stalks off the steering column?

The one on the bottom left controls the OBC.

Got only one on the left, then the option was not ordered when the car was built.

Can the OBC be retrofitted? Yes. With either a 4 stalk unit or a switch wired in plus the option of the OBC turned on by someone who has a special diagnostic computer (usually dealers but some independents have em)

Thank you got only one on the left.
