  1. The car is a'02 with 75K miles. All service is up to date and the car runs really well. Two things I have noticed. At 3300 RPM's the car feels as though it wants to sprint or surge forward just for a split second . A sort of uncomanded input. Is this the variable valve timing kicking in ? The second thing I feel is when shifting out of second at say 4000 RPM and into third the car is at 3000 RPM and I feel a slight lag or miss but for only a fraction of a second. Has anyone else experienced this?
  2. C'mon guys I am shopping for a new clutch now too. Any tips, Brands, anything? I just bought an 02' C2 with 75K mi. I knew the car was in need of a new clutch when I bought it. It was heavy and with 75K It was about the right time. It never slipped, just felt stiff and gritty for lack of better words. I have a track 911 so this one is my Sunday driver. With that in mind I kept it all stock. Sachs and Fidanza. What a difference a new clutch makes. Soooo smooth. There are some small plastic pieces that should be updated while they are in there. Also let them update the RMS and several bolts while in there. The cost is small at this time.
  3. They all look that way. Like they have never been off. They are a black plastis can that looks dirty to begin with and it's in an area that is exposed to lots of dirt. We are all use to shiny smooth spin on filters.
  4. Thank you for the reply. The photos are most helpful
  5. The AC display on my 02 Carrera C2 is out. There is a half circle like blob of light on the display with only half of the display working. The display cost is around $410. Does anybody have experience replacing this? If so, how difficult is it?
