  1. Dead battery and now no radio Model CR210 Type BE 2182 Serial # T5002640 Any help on the code would be much appricated. Ken
  2. I think I am clsoe to completing the retrofit - a lot of rewiring but the difference is huge. I only thing left is the autoleveling wiring. My 2001 has 4 wires for the autoleveling, the same as the 2002+, but I can't match them up. There seems to be no power to any of the wires when I turn the lights on (before the car is started). Does anybody no when the autoleveling happens. Is it when the lights are turned on or when the car is turned on.
  3. I have seem a few posts on the conversion of the headlights after a front bumper upgrade. Does anybody have the wiring conversion from the 2001- to the 2002+. I looked in my wiring diagram for MY01 996 and is says: Pin 1 High beam ground / fog light ground / turn signal ground / side marker ground pin 2 high beam power pin 3 fog light power pin 4 low beam ground pin 6 side maker power pin 7 turn signal power pin 9 low beam power Can anybody translate that to the 2002+ HID version. Thanks.
  4. Ok - I tried to pop the clutch to start and got nothing. I don't smell any gas or hear the fuel pump so, to me, it seems it must be a relay or the ignition switch. Is there any way to test to see if the ignition switch is working. Maybe I connected it wrong or got a faulty replacement.
  5. I resently install some Fabspeed Mufflers on MY01 Cab (US) and have not heard the sound of them yet. I removed the old muffler and ran the car for a while, as long as my ears could handle it. This put out a lot of code like misfire and o2 sensor, but it was cool. Then installed the muffler, factor cats and one new cat o2 sensor. Now the car will not turn over at all. I have read numerious posting about possible causes and have tried, replace ignition switch (from Audi), bypassed clutch switch (and check voltage is 0 when bypassed), check ground to engine, replace battery and connected Durametric tool (only code is Alarm fault code 25.. I assume from disconnecting the battery) The DME response to the Durametric tool so I assume it is ok. Sorry, also check ignition fuse, its good. Any help on this would be greatly.
