Hi, I have no cruise control so i did not notice that issue. What i was surprised for is that there were no warning about lights. In that case i would added the resistor. Can you please add a diagram or picture? Thanks!

Hi!, this is the first diy i post here. This one is for a led conversion of the 3rd brake like in a 996. Images and instructions are taken from spanish forum ForoPorsche.com. Post is here (Link to complete post at foroporsche.com) First you have to remove the brake light: Then i soldered the metal parts to avoid movings.... Then place the leds instead the bulbs: now, you have to make the holes at the plastic part bigger: (just a bit, about 2 milimetres) Close it and you have a nice led light, very bright and with led spots :D Hope you like.
