hi loren i think it may need replacing is there or has anyone got a rear shock replacement guide DIY ?
cheers loren hoped you would pick up on this quick question the shocks were only fitted to the car brand new around 12 months ago. i have just found the invoice. so cant see age being the issue. will the cold have caused damage to the shocks or will they just preform bad because of the cold and be ok again when the weather gets better? how will the cold effect them? are they easily replaced if i need a new shock or is it a big job ?
hi there was wondering if anyone can shine a light here i have a 2000 c4 coupe wen i bought it had yellow upgraded bilstien shocks on the rear.... are they gas ? do they need regassing? can it be done? recently i have heard a knocking from the rear right hand side when going over bumps in the road i think the damping may have gone or could it be bushes ? i have no idea when i push down on the rear end there seams to be still some damping on the rebound. it has been -10 c temp this week with snow and ice - could this be the cause of the problem? thanks for all the help in advance guys :renntech: :renntech: :renntech:
is my amp built into the headunit then or is it else where do i just chage the head unit or the amp or both ?
cheers loren reason i ask is because i have changed all the speakers in the car to alpine speakers and have taken out the tuned ports in the doors and have done the MDF-DYNAMAT baffles mod for the doors with 16cm alpines aswell and to be honest it sounds worse than it did before!!!! i cant turn the base up past -1 or it all distorts and sounds like something you would find in an old van! i am thinking that the next step is to change the amp to get a better sound what do you recon ?
mine is a 2000 coupe it has 2 speakers in the front doors and a cdr22 and 2 speakers on the dash and 2 in the rear quarters i def no it isnt a bose system what is a MOST system
looking at upgrading my amp does anyone know where the factory one is ??? also anyone got any good ideas of audio upgrade? thanks in advance :renntech:
