  1. It is not hard just take your time and don't force anything. I have done it twice. Good luck!
  2. I installed my Misha spoiler on my C4S. I know you can get a new harness. But I thought I read somewhere (can't find it now of course) that you could jumper something in the harness to deactivate it. Any thoughts?
  3. Guys: Anyone have an exploded diagram of the TT engine? I am just curious to look and see what makes it tick. The car I am considering needs a valve job. So it would be nice to have bit of understanding of the structure. Know what I mean? Tim
  4. Mike: Thanks. Saw that but this would be for a non fiber car. I think that is that is the correct term. 01 has a different wire setup I think. T Try here: http://www.renntech.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=7068 Mike
  5. Hi All: I have a chance to buy a 01 NAV unit from a board member. It consists of the NAV screen unit and the CD drive. No harnesses or antenas etc. Anyone have any ideas what I might be looking at to do this install? And what additional parts I might need. Thanks in advance! Tim
  6. You would think I am dismantling my car :) I am also going to have the black external lower parts painted. Are there dis-assembly instructions? From the looks of it the unbolt. Can anyone confirm?
  7. Gang: Thinking of having them painted. What is the proper way to remove them? As always, THANKS in advance Tim
  8. Were these made by a Packers fan?
  9. Wasn't there a hack to make the tip wheel switches control the radio?
  10. One thing to consider is wraping your new filter in newspaper overnight to absorb any extra oil. ON my fist 996 there was a bit of extra oil and it fouled the MAF. I cleaned the MAF with electronics cleaner and cleaned the filter and had no more issues. I wrapped the filter before I put it in the current C4S and have had no issues.
