  1. i've had no electricical warnings since fitting - However I previously owned an M3, which I fitted them too, and would constantly be told on the OBC that the bulbs were blown, i.e. the power draw (35watts), was less than the standard bulb (55watt), hence the computer assumed a problem.
  2. Pelican Parts have a howto guide on this. I'm still waiting on a reply from Sunset - as to cost of shipping this install to Ireland......
  3. I've also completed this mod - using 4300K bulbs with slimline ballasts. Managed to fit the whole unit inside the headlight housing, so no drilling required. Great part was the Dollar to Euro conversion - only cost me 70 euro shipped from Hong Kong to Ireland B)
  4. fixed - changed the fuse for a fresh one, and its back working.
  5. Hi Folks, I was coming up to a toll booth in the boxster today, so I pressed the "ON" button to turn off the radio (it has been working perfectly until today). handed over the toll to the guy, drove off, pressed the on button, and the radio wouldn't turn back on. The LED just started blinking, like it normally does when the radio is off, and the car is alarmed. I removed the faceplate and put it back on - no joy Turned off the car completely, set alarm left it for 2 hours, went back, still won't turn on, just has the LED blinking away. Any suggestions folks ? Hopefully i won't need to remove this, as I didn't get the removal keys with the radio when I bought the car.... Thanks brian
  6. fyi - your alarm might be effected too ? i.e. it probably beeps everytime you activate it ? if so, its telling you theres something up with the center glovebox lock
  7. Thanks for the posts guys - it was only yesterday, when I was showing the car to a friend, that i noticed the light was actually on, at the same time I had the rear boot open. When I last opened the boot, to see it not working, I had everything closed. relief !
  8. Hi Folks, My front trunk light has stopped working - pretty sure its not the bulb, but does anyone know where is the sensor for turning it on when the lid is open ? Thanks Brian
