  1. So, if all the gears are the same. Is TechArt just running that 997 way over factory redline? How else could it be that much faster on the top end? I suspect TechArt has done much more than an X50 package. It has always been my understanding that one of the limiting factors on the top speed was Wind Resistance vs. Horse Power. The extra HP lets you obtain more of the cars speed potential. The gears will let you get there on paper, but in the real world their are forces working against you like friction and resistance.
