  1. I have an '03 996 C2 with Bose. I had my annual service performed by Momentum in Houston yesterday. They did a great job. Unfortunately, they were unable to figure out the issues with my CDR23 and I'm still stuck with a sick stereo. Here's a rundown on the issues: When I open the door to get into the car in the morning (after the car has sat unlocked in my garage over night), the CD player makes a loud and rapid clicking noise. This is before I even put the key in the ignition. Then the CD player will not work unless I eject the disk and reinsert it. On a bad day, the disk won't eject at all. Occasionally, the stereo appears to be turned on but is mute. No volume. If I leave the car turned off for a little while and restart, voila, works again. Does anyone have any idea why this may be happening or what the problem might be? If possible I'd like to give the dealer more info so that they may be able to fix it. I've also heard there may be a TSB or other documentation evidencing known defects with the CDR 23 and recommending replacement with updated hardware. Anyone heard of this? Like clockwork, it did it again this morning and I the disk would not eject. It's really getting irritating. TIA!
  2. I believe this is what you are looking for. You want to remove the jumper. http://www.renntech.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=491&hl=

  5. FYI, I've got a 2003 996 C2. I've read that the Boxster S Brake calipers are identical to the 996 brake calipers (except they are painted red). Is this correct? If so, will the Boxster S calipers simply bolt on the my C2, or are there any modifications needed? :D TIA!
  6. Exactly what I needed. You're the greatest! Thanks! :clapping:
  7. Looks great! It's a fantastic idea, and best of luck to you!
