  1. the door handles do not come textured. I have a very nice set of the textured trim in my garage if anyone is interested.
  2. There are some "t"s back there that are known weak points on the turbo's. I assume thats what broke.
  3. Thanks Loren. Perfect. Now I have to figure out how to reprogram.
  4. Can anyone tell me how to remove the headlight switch on my 2005 CTT. I read you push in and turn counter clockwise, and it pops out. That does not seem to work. Any thoughts.
  5. anyone know where the cruise control fuse is on my 2005 CTT. I cant find it in the manual. My cruise control green light .. lights up ... but non of the functions work on the cruise control. I have read threads about a brake control switch being faulty, but my car does not seem to have one. I think they were above the brake pedal on 2004 cars.
  6. It is not easy to do. The panels have to be removed ... and they are plastic weldon on.
  7. Yes I did it. I lowered as much as the Durametric would allow. It is an easy process.
  8. Take a look at this post. I have the Ipex ones from Ebay. http://forums.rennli...ail-lights.html I am carreracup03 RS on the second page of the post, and last page. They look fantastic! Very high quality and make the car look new. I am not a fan of mods like this .. but they look like they belong on the car
  9. It was the battery. It was new 6 months ago. I gave it back to interstate, and they gave me a new one under warranty.
  10. My car wont start. It is something electrical. I hear a click and everything goes dead. I think there is something with the headlights .. if I turn them on .. everything blinks and flashes. Is there a headlight relay .. may be I blew the relay. The battery is charged.
  11. Does anyone know how to remove the center brake light (2005 CTT). Mine works on and off ... want to check the contact points. AA
  12. Thanks Loren. I am not sure I want to tackle it without easy to follow directions. I cant imagine it is that hard.
  13. I have a 2005 CTT. Something happened to the leather on top of the center arm rest (the one that opens for storage) and I want to have the leather redone. Does anyone know how to remove the top, leather covered, piece? Thanks, Andy
  14. I have the T's in my garage. I ordered a kit for my 2005 CTT that included two T's for the back of the engine. If someone wants to contact me to get the measurements and specs etc ... I would be glad to help out. I would love to get metal replacement T's made.
  15. PKN, I am sorry I just saw this. Sounds like you have the right kit. I have both the T pipes in back of the engine, along with a number of seals and gaskets that are not in other kits. Sunset told me they make their own kit of all parts that should be changed. Now I have to install the kit :)
  16. It looks like that kit is missiing a few of the parts... at least for a CTT. The two T pipes in back of the engine and intake gaskets where not on another person who posted their parts kit from either rennlist or 6speedonline. I ordered mine from Sunset for 450 which included the two T pipes and the gaskets. I went over every part number with Sunset to varrify. I am not sure but maybe the non turbo's dont use the T pipes and that is the difference.
  17. I did the exact same thing on my 2005 CTT about 1.5 years ago ... including the mobridge sirius, bluetooth, and rear back up camera. rear back up camera works very well. I wanted the phone button, which my old pcm 2.1 did not have. All has worked great .. and complete switch out plug and play. I also got the in dash compass display which I did not have with old pcm 2.1 unit. I sold my old PCM 2.1 for 63 dollars less that I bought my new one for on ebay. So $63 dollars for the compass display on dash and phone buttons. Worth it in my opinion.
  18. I had my ccoils changed in Jan. 2010. I had my car in to fix an air suspension error code ... and the dealer told me that my #4 and #8 cylinders had missfire error codes. They replaced those coils under recall. Point is 18 months ... they might have gone bad again.
  19. Thanks RFM. Checked the fuse .. and it is still good. It just stopped doing it a few weeks ago. Going to the dealership to fix a air suspension fault ... so will have the fix it then. Still have CPO ... but thopught there might be an easy reset or fix. Thanks.
  20. My front wipers would lower themselves to flush, or recessed, about 2 seconds after completing the cycle and turning off. Meaning they would be straight accross after the auto lowering to aid in aerodynamics ... instead of angled up before the lowering. Mine dont lower themselves anymore and are too high on the windshield when the cycle is over. They do not recess. Any fix for this?
  21. As flying Bob pointed out ... by Porsche's rational .. the older wheels can handle more weight ... so the should be fine with the older stronger heavier wheels ... provided they fit. By the same Porsche Tech reasoning maybe do not use the new generation wheels on the older models.
  22. how did you get the $1000 voucher from Porsche. I would like to get one of those before mine go. Thanks.
