    2002 Boxster 986 2.7
  1. Hi, I have the same problem - but have taken the brake switch out - it all looks fine - but given it a clean anyway - but still the brake lights dont work, fuse and bulbs ok - does anyone have any other ideas what it could be? Thanks, Mike
  2. Thanks very much for the quick response :) I will try that brake pedal switch cleaning - and if it doesnt work I will try searching the DIY forum. Thanks once again - much appreciated. Mike
  3. Hi, I seem to have a problem with all the brake lights on my 2002 2.7 986. Whenever the brake pedal is completley depressed the brake lights fail to come on. But if gentle pressure is applied to the brake pedal then the lights do come on - depress them further and the brakes lights turn off. I have changed the bulbs and the fuse for the brakes and the same thing happens. Please help - my boxster is completely undriveable with no brake lights! Any advice would be greatly received. Thanks, Mike
