  1. Just wanted to salute Porsche, just hit 134000 miles, decided to change the plugs and they looked perfect. The only mechanical problem Ive had is the alternator going out. the car sees red-line everyday, multiple times a day and never skips a beat. I have never had a car that was so bullet proof. beside 9 sets of rear tires, one clutch and a set of brakes, no problems or issues. Kudos to Porsche

  6. Did you ever figure out exactly what was wrong? Im having the same problem with vibration only during decelleration but was worried it could be an internal problem. I drive my 01 S very hard so Im curious if this is something that will cost serious $$$$$ to fix.
