    Rev Limiter

Re: Gt3 2004 Rev Limiter Rev Limiter stage #1 activates at what RPM ? Regards, Ed Sanders So. Calif. sandersedward@sbcglobal.et Why no shift gates like other exotics to help prevent the "money shifts" ?
  3. I have been told that the 929 S calipers are a direct replacement for the original stock calipers, only requiring that you to replace the stock rotors with larger ones to accommodate the larger "S" calipers. Wheel clearance is not an issue, as I am running later 993 wheels. True or false ? Thanks, Ed 1980 928 2004 GT3
  4. Loren, I am a little confused regarding the difference between the ECU and PCM... and their location. What symptom should I look for to determine that it is functioning properly ? Thanks, Ed P.S. Thanks for the great source to Porsche fans.
  5. I am a new owner of the Durametric diagnostic tool. I have located fault codes, 9114 PCM, 38 DTC. I was unable to locate on Renntech any info regarding them. Anyone know where to locate info regarding fault codes ? THANKS, ED
  6. Greetings Phillij, Are you familiar with any trusted/reputable techs in the Pasadena area or do I look towards Torrance or Costa Mesa? As you have suggested I too am amenable to reputable independent tech services Regards, Ed sandersedward@sbcglobal.net
  7. Good morning , Thanks for your helpful information. Less anxiety is always good ! Thanks, Ed
  8. 2004 996 GT3, 18000 mi. I am a recent second owner with unknown tract time on vehicle. Can anyone give me an explanation as to why I am having substantial clutch chatter/vibration in reverse gear only, without any chatter in forward gears. Dealer stated needed new clutch job, $4000.00. Thanks, Ed sandersedward@sbcglobal.net
