  2. I was quoted $2000 ($2,400 if they need to replace the T's) by Porsche North Scottsdale so they must have lowered their price. Doing this before they break is better than waiting for them to break and having the expense double in my opinion. They are also giving me a loaner car for 3 days while they do it. So in the end i can get out of there for around $1,600 i am happy considering the price i paid for the car 2 weeks ago. I know this issue had a major impact on the resale value of the vehicle. I guess only time will tell once this passes.
  3. 80K miles is not much and this car seems like a decent price unless something is really mechanically wrong with it or it has been in accidents. I paid $21K for a 2004 Turbo with 36K miles on it and feel very good about the price i paid (original listing price with options was 96,000 in 2004, new turbos are $140K). This car most likely listed for around $60K so selling for $10K is a better price than I paid considering the Model, Options and the Mileage. I don't think the blue color is appealing but heck you can always have the car repainted right? In the end it all comes back to the local mar
  4. Well i just made my appointment with North Scottsdale Porsche to replace the pipes they quoted me $2,000 and with the $325 i'll get back from the settlement i feel it is worth it to do this now even though i have only 36,000 miles on the CTT. I knew of the issue before buying it and i am sure it really had a impact on KBB/Edmunds/Black Book Pricing. Thats why i was specifically looking for 2004 Turbo and lucky for me there was 1 on Craigs list from a guy who was 5 minutes from my house. I've seen many CTT's with a lot more miles on them listing for 28-32K. Maybe i am just stupid but to me pea
  5. Hello does anyone have recommendations on Brake rotor and pads for a 2004 TT ? I recently put ATE rotors and Hawk Performance HB512Y.605 LTS Brake Pads on my Touareg. I know the Touareg used 330 mm on the front and the Cayenne is 350 front and 330 rear. I want to upgrade the brakes that are on this Turbo to something like i did with the VW and am looking for recommendations. Thanks for your help....Dan
  6. Has anyone ever used a PhatNoise with the 2004 Cayenne MOST System. I have one i used in my 04 Touareg and an thinking of trying it with the Cayenne. Is is compatible? Any help is greatly appreciated.
  7. I just bought a 04 CTT . I am glad to see there is potentially a settlement. It does not appear mine have been done due to the service records unless it was done under warranty. I sent my information to Porsche with the form that was in the maintenance manual. Is that the best way to let them know you are the owner of one of these vehicles?
  8. I have a 04 Touareg and a 04 Cayenne TT that i just picked up (only 36k miles) for 21K. i forgot how easy the vehicle is with the Kessy working as the 10 year old Cayenne still works. My touareg however has not worked for 5 or 6 years :( this is great info i plan to try it out with my Treg to see if i can fix it. THANKS!!!!
  9. Does the CDR 23 work with the Phatnoise system?
