  2. Loren, thank you so much for the oil change DIY, this is an invaluable resource. I had a question I was wondering if you could help me with. I'm about to do my first oil change on my 2003 996 Targa. I've noticed on this DIY below: http://forums.rennlist.com/rennforums/997-...-with-pics.html that the oil tank is also drained (in addition to the engine case drain). Is draining the oil tank necessary in your opinion? Or would this apply to my 996 Targa (2003)? TIA!
