In speaking with tirerack.com and wheeldynamics.com they guarrantee the fitment of the 19" wheels on my '96 993 cab, as long as they are accompanied by the tires 235/35/19 on front and 275/30/19 on back. Also he mentioned the need for a "Steering Rack Brace" ($60 at Paragon Products.com) and Porsche also recommends if you go with rims of 18" or larger. I don't know if this would apply to yours. Go onto Tirerack.com and enter in your car and see if a wheel and tire recommendation comes up...great site!

:drive: Hi Guys/Gals... I recently purchased a '96 993 cab, and run 17" rims with 205 50's on the front and 255 40's on the back (55 offset on both). Can I run a 19" rim with 235 35 (47 offset) on the front and a 275 30 (56 offset) on the back. I've been told they'll be fine...any comments please!!!
