  1. Pierre suggest you get this looked at ASAP. After my coil-over install I immediately got rare / intermittent ABS/PSM lights that progressively got worse. Eventually after a few months the new suspension tugged on the sensor wiring harnesses to the point that the sensors shorted out and in turn fried the control module. Not sure if I have recourse with the shop that did the coil-over install (supposedly very reputable) but needless to say I'm not thrilled with this situation that could have easily been avoided. Cheers, J
  2. Fantastic.....thank you. Yes on the wiring. Dealer replaced both front sensors and wiring. Poorly installed coil-overs seem to have really messed this system up. Cheers, J
  3. Many thanks jpflip......... No mention of PSM with the unit referenced at AA? So are we to assume then that the ABS control module is part of the Hydraulic brake unit & also functions as the PSM module? Was under the impression that the 'control module' could be removed with out compromising normal braking operation. (no ABS obviously) Lastly where is this item located on this vehicle? Cheers, J
  4. Good morning guys, I have been informed by the dealer that my ABS/PSM module has been 'shorted' out & needs replacing. Vehicle is '02 996TT. Having a devil of a time locating this 'magic' part on the vehicle in order to obtain a part # and consequently consider repair or replacement from an alternative source. Have searched many many Porsche parts sites and none of them listing this item? What gives? All thoughts most appreciated. Cheers, J
  5. Beecher, Would you mind elaborating on your "after market" seat heaters? This was the only option I did not get with my 996TT '02. Didn't realize that after market was an option. Cheers, J
