  1. The original service book went missing for my 997, so I purchased a replacement. However, the sticker on the inside of the front cover containing all the option codes etc is now missing. Is the original sticker duplicated on the car anywhere? It is not on the inside of the hood on a 997, any ideas? Or, is there any way to get this info or replacement sticker Thanks
  2. It certainly is possible, but it all depends on the thorougness/expertise of the warranty company's inspection procedure prior to issuing the warranty. If they catch it beforehand, they may disclaim that problem as a "pre-existing condition". Regards, Maurice. So I take it that the car has to be inspected before an extended warranty is granted, you can't simply pay and get one?
  3. I have a July '05 2.7 Boxster 987 Left hand drive registered in the UK, I recently had my car up on a ramp and I noiticed that there were traces of oil around the engine /gearbox join. I've got a nasty feeeling that this is down to a RMS failure, although the car doesn't drip/lose or burn oil. My warranty ran out in July last year. I take it that I have to cover the costs for a repair myself?? Is it possible to put a porsche extended warranty on the car and if and when the issue gets worse, have the work done then under warranty?? Thanks
  4. Hi, This may have been touched on before, but can anybody tell me the differences, if any, between a Carrera 2S that is sold in the US and one that is sold in Europe. I know the obvious differences, like sidemakers being orange in the US, but I take it there is more? Thanks
