Hi all, is a 997 TT engine swap into 996 TT possible? I need to replace my 996TT X50 engine and thinking of putting a 997TT engine in my car. Does somebody has done this swap before? What modifications do I need to do? I really appreciate any help you can provide.

I have recognized a couple days ago, that there something like guck in the engine oel inlet. After cleaning this it was present again after 100 miles of driving. Could it be that the head gasket needs to be replaced? The car is loosing coolant water, but I do not see were it goes. At night temperatures are dropping under freezing point. Could this be the issue? I made an owl change two weeks ago but found no water, plastic or metal chipping. Any ideas? Its an 3,4L 2000 M96/04 engine. Thanks

Does anybody has a plan of procedure for the alarm / door lock module? I mean a plan where you can see which conditions or state (signals from micro switches etc.) must be given from electricals components to lock / secure the doors. My bentley book is just showing the wiring diagrams.

I already changed the key fob battery. Yes, actuating the the door locks by OBD 2 software at the dealership was succesful. Both doors have locked and unlocked by the software. They have recomment me to change the "faulty" door locks, what then I did. But the problem is still there.

I have recognised a days ago, that my car will not lock the doors with the key transmitter. When I lock the drivers door with the metal key, the car makes a double horn beep and the passenger door is still unlocked. Then I open the door, the alarm will turn on. I have replaced both door locks because I thought is a microswitch problem of the door lock, but the problem is still present. I have attahed the error codes in the attachment. Btw, triggering the actuating elements in the door lock by the Porsche software at the dealer ship will lock the passenger door. Does anybody has an idea what the problem could be? Thanks

I am planning to buy a 2008 Cayman with a light front end collision. Both airbag are deployed. Do I need to replace the dashboard because of the deployed passenger side airbag? If so, how expensive will be a new dashboard? Thanks for your help.
