  1. I think so, they removed the belt to replace the compressor. Is dangerous to drive the car without the screw?
  2. Hi I had my 2006 V6 Cayenne Air compressor replaced. I opened the hood and saw that a screw is missing on the belt tensioner. Any help is appreciated. Thanks
  3. Hi Loren I have an issue with my 2006 Cayenne 6cyl. The air conditioner works when you are running in open space without stops. As soon as I stop in a light the air starts to get hot until only hot air comes out. There is no overheating issue, coolant needle stays on 180 degrees. Checked the fans and they are running both. Could the coolant sensor cause this? Any help is appreciated. Thanks Also checked freon and is ok.

  7. My Cayenne (2006 base 6 cyl) is having problems with the air conditioner. Allready checked the compressor and the pressures are fine no need to add 134 gas. When you are stopped the air is not cooling. When you start running in the freeway it starts to cool but not in the same way it originally does. What can be the problem? The AC technician told me he can not do anything else because the system is within especifications regarding the 134 gas. Loren please advise. Thanks
  8. My Cayenne is giving this codes. I reset them and they come back after being idle for around 15 minutes (when my wife waits for my kid to come out of the school). The Cayenne drives fine with no problems or misfires. What can cause this? thanks

  11. Cleared the codes and run fine until yesterday Aug 06. Again I have the code P0441, P2187 and P2189. WVicary where in the rear intake manifold is the evap control valve? Thanks

  16. Hi, I reset the codes as told. Verified the gas and oil cap and the codes reapeared again. Filled the gas tank and again it wont start. I think is the valve that is faulty. Code are: P2187 P2189 P0441 Do you know where this valve is located?
  17. Also it has the code P2187 and P2189. Last Saturday I filled up the tank and it never started. I had to tow truck it to my father house. The next day it started normal.
  18. Hi my Cayenne is giving the P0441 Code. Search on the forum but did not find info on the 6 cylinder Cayenne. Where is the valve located on the base cayenne? Is this part number 948 110 202 01 the same for all models? Please help with the info. Thanks!!!!
