  1. I have a 2006 997. The a/c clutch bearing is grinding. I purchased a used 996 a/c compressor off of ebay. I plan on leaving the original a/c compressor on the car and take off the clutch and replace it with the one purchased on ebay. My car has 29,533 miles. When I turn the center bolt the whole clutch spins with it and I cant see how to secure the clutch so I can turn the bolt in the center. Second does the clutch need to be pulled out with a puller, installed with a press? It would be great to not disconect the a/c system and take the compressor out. I'm looking at adding performance mods. Does anyone know where in Orange County Ca or a website I can go to purchase performance bolt on parts, chip or so? I will replace my aircleaner if there is a better one than factory. Thanks to you all for reading and your Help! Fred
  2. Also the only damage was to the right rear wheel/suspension. The body was unharmed. Fred
  3. Hi all, I have purchased an 2007 Boxster for resale. The right rear suspension was damaged, no frame damage, engine damage etc. The left front radiator was damaged by the towing company so i had to replace the radiator. Now I see the light in the area where the coolan temperature is flashing and it does not appear that the temp gauge moves along with a message stating faulty sensor/gauge or something like that. We filled the radiator appropriately but the guage and message is still there. Could it be a fuse? The car is still under warrantee but if something is shown to be part of the accident then it wont be covered. Anything i can check? Fred
