  1. There was a guy on PPBB who changed the exhaust and intake with after market parts and got the boxster up to 280+ hp... Try posting there. Jeff
  2. Sometimes when I turn my wheel all the way to the left to make a U turn a high pitch metal rubbing on metal type of noise comes out from the left front of the car. It can happen in the morning or at night, wet or dry. I don't know if there is a pattern to it. I've taken it to several dealerships and no one can figure out what it is because it is not always reproducible. A dealership in Atlanta bevelled my front brake pad because they thought it was due to the pads rubbing against the rotors in extreme left turn. But the noise is still there and now I have a longer stopping distance. Does anyone know what could be wrong with it? I have a 2004 Boxster S with stock suspension. Thanks in advance. Jeff :censored:
  3. I didn't notice that in my car, I'll have to check it and let you know. Jeff
  4. I can't wait to see!! I am drooling just thinking about it! What is the power in the 3.4? Jeff
  5. Recently installed the smartop. Absolutely love it!!! here is the website! Cost listed on website. Jeff http://www.smarttop.de/index.html
  6. Hi guys, I am thinking of getting the smart top for my boxster 2004S. Has anyone had experience with it? Will it install in a 2004 S without difficulty? I appreciate your advice. Thanks. jeff
  7. I am thinking getting the smart top for my 2004 boxster S. I have heard from some that it is great and easy to use. Does it install on a 2004 boxster S? Has anyone used it in their car? And how do you like it? Thanks for you input. Jeff
  8. I took the car out to a parking lot and did circles! The steering noise only comes on when I turn left and when I slow down. I can feel the vibrations in the wheel when the whirrling noise come out. I hear on the ppbb that it could be a strut bearing. I am taking it in next week. Jeff
  9. My new 2004 boxster S with 1900miles on it does the same thing. It's not the brakes... :censored: Anyone else with the same problem? I thought maybe it was just part of the break in period. Jeff
