  1. How did you get the Porsche Badge to appear on the screen? If it is a downloadable file, where can I get it? Thanks in advance, btw, awesome job on the trim piece. John
  2. Not yet, I'm not looking to make a living at this just to cover my costs and time. I may have a local fiberglass guy do the work for me but that will add some cost, still looking into that possibility. Ideally, I want it to fall between $200-$300. But again, at this time its a WAG.
  3. So far no rattles. Nothing touches any part of the top ribbing and the Focal subs are rated for 100 watts max. at which the suggested optimum wattage is 75 watts. This is not a boom box it just adds the right amount of sub to improve the sound. I also use the original latches for the storage compartment which secures it in place.
  4. Rear Storage / Speaker Compartment Mod I have modified the rear storage compartment to handle two (2) 5" subs and two (2) 4" speakers. I will be using Focal speakers, the 5" 13KS subs and a pair or 4" 100CA. The Focal 5" subs are the best sounding subs that I've ever heard. I have spent weeks cutting and shaping this compartment and its finally ready to make the master mold. I will be selling these Rear Speaker/Sub Boxes in the very near future if anyone is interested. They will have a gelcoat finish and I'll make a few colors. I hav Author criblo Category Boxster (986) - Mods Submitted 08/05/2008 09:00 PM

  6. I just bought a 1999 Boxster and I need the radio code. The dealer put a new battery in and the code card is not in the car. I would really like to listen to some music. Here is the info, CDR-220 Serial # X5021245 Model# BE 4462 48/98 Thanks, John I tried the codes you sent (2522 or 2520), the didn't work. So I tried as you suggested, going up and down from the numbers by two digits. After three hours, no dice. I read more posts from the past and read that some people tried single digit moves and were successful. I tried 2523 and BINGO !!!!!!! I am enjoying music in my Boxster. Thanks again for the code and reading past posts does give a lot of insight. This is a very informed forum and I am learning a great deal about my car. John
  7. I tried the codes you gave me and they didn't work. Do you have more codes? Thanks again, John
