  1. Help! I thought I had the right radio code for my BECKER CDR-210 (as the card came with the car when I bought it) however, once installing a new battery I am faced with the "CODE" screen on the faceplate with a flashing "C". I enter the code, and then the first number still flashes follwed by the other numbers that sit stagnant. Here is the info I have. Can someone run this and tell me if it is correct and if I am supposed to follow by hitting a button or to to "enter" the code? BECKER CDR-210 Serial Number: W5022166 PR-Ver: 3297 (obtained from holding down 8 and 0 on faceplate then scrolling) Code: 4532 Any help is greatly appreciated! Rob
  2. Thanks guys...I am assuming either way suggested below would be safe...but still nervous(lol) Thanks for all the suggestions.
  3. Hi all, I just opened up the engine area on my Boxster and it is in a need of a cleaning or dusting. My question is, can you carefully wash the Boxster engine on low pressure with regular car wash soap? And is it normal for the engine area to look so "dusty"? It is a '98 that has 95k miles and has been check thoroughly for any RMS issues -- and luckily, it is one of the ones that escaped the issue but the engine looks dusty/dirty as hell. Thanks in advance
  4. Hi all, One of the "push rods" (red tipped rod behind drivers seat) snapped again rendering my top inoperable -- however, I am in the midst of installing a Zeintop, so I am actually willing to remove the top altogether...so my question is, how can I raise and lower the top manually and/or remove the top assembly? Any help is greatly appreciated! Rob
  5. Hi, I am having the exact same problem with my Boxster and am hoping you have gotten to the bottom of it, so I can as well:) Any news and/or luck? Thanks in advance, Rob
