  1. i found it. thanks for the input. this is my first air-cooled older car like this. use to modern day technology. thanks for the help..
  2. Anyone know a trick to dropping the front end on a 73 914 2.0. looks like the strut is welded to the spindle. do you just cut the weld and slide the spindle up the strut some and re weld. that would my guess. im only looking for about an inch to inch and a half. any suggestions would be great. thanks.. shawn
  3. thanks for the input guys. i was wondering about the strut top bearings and was considering pulling them out to inspect them and so forth, but didnt really want to mess with the alignment issues afterwards unless it would rectify the problem. i understand the car being 4 years old and not driven too often, so i may just go ahead and replace them. thanks again for the input.
  4. i have an 04 gt3 with 15k miles on it and everytime i back the car up it makes a pop noise from the front suspension. the coilover setup is still stock with no adjustments ever been made. it only does it from the driver side. its driving me crazy. has anyone else had this problem or know what the solution is to rectify it. i called the dealer but they said its out of warranty. any info would be greatly appreciated, thanks.
