  1. It's all good Loren :) Came home today with temp in mid 80", fired her up, no noise. I guess I really never listen for it. It stood out this morning, although we have been having some 50 degree mornings in the summer which is a bit odd. All is well :renntech: Thanks for the welcome Tony
  2. Does a stickey lifter cure itself? It's a 2000 with 12,500 miles that isn't driven daily. Could this be the cause? Thanks Loren, Tony
  3. This morning I started up my 996 and I had a small ticking noise coming from the driver side of the motor when running. It sounded like a small lifter tap, like when there is not enough oil in the motor. My oil level is fine, however when I reved the motor is got faster as I reved. I had an issue sort of like this years back. I had a fab speed muffler come apart inside and make a ticking noise. Any help from you Loren would be greatly appreciated Thanks, Tony
