  1. no check engine- thought i might beat on that relay some and completely remove #18 tab some recommened bending it for future use and check fuses b6 and d3 supposedly related to top then run down to car shop for code read if nothing- thanks i did all that relay and fuse foolishness and it started right up took it for another 20-30 minute spirited drive in 90deg F weather temp guage edging past the 0 on 180 and all of a sudden won't idle again so forget the top maybe that just added to heat problem is there a manifold heat sensor???? or something else that could contribute to this performance after heating up??? THANKS AGAIN FOR ANY HELP

  3. ok i am at a complete loss i added cold air and headers but don't think that is related. had top issues with opening and closure but have handbrake switch to replace when i get around to it but for now bent over relay contact #18 to bypass problem so we have functioning top THE PROBLEM!!!!- THE CAR behaves poorly won't idle hard to start (if you keep revs up it is ok) SO i disconnect battery overnight all better runs great go to put top up and boom back to running like garbage other that keeping top always down WHAT THE HECK IS HAPPENING THAANK YOU __99 boxster__
  4. 99 boxster went to dealer he spun some dials looked up code no charge
