  1. They do not need to pull the radio to get the serial - you can access it (as described in the FAQ) through the front panel. Becker can also get you the code over the phone for a small fee ( I think it was $30 last time I checked). I told them that i have all the info but still would not help. Naplenton Porsche, i wish i never moved out western burbs tried call other dealers but all i get is voice mail with no return calls yet. How do i get in touch with becker? update: Sorry i gave you the wrong serial number. I got the right one 4768 hope this works as i need to pay $20 for it. thanks again for all you help. Now i just need to wait 1 hour or so with the car on so the system can reset. thanks again TIA.
  2. Thanks loren. It did not work for me i guess i'm part of the 5%. After the 3rd try i had to wait for more then a hour before i could try again. Is this normal? 1066,1068,1070,1072,1074,1076 all no good, I guess I'll just upgrade unless there is anything else you suggest. Dealer told me i would need to bring the car in wright up a service order pull the radio get the whole serial number email all my info to Porsche Germany and wait till we get a response. I was told they would keep the car for 2 to 3 day? Got a quote of 300. Just dose not seem right. Anyways thanks again. Any help would be appreciated
