  1. 2008 Boxster S ~ 25,000 miles. Never had any problems with the car before. It sat for 3 weeks over the holidays . I started it, then this load rumbling low bass noise was coming out of the drivers door speakers only. So loud the windows etc were vibrating. I let it run, after a few minutes the noise stopped. I let it run for a while the noise did not return. The next morning my wife says she heard weird noises from the garage. Later go out and start the car and the noise come back. I shut off the engine and removed the key. still had the noise. I made sure the stereo was off. So some how this very load bass rumbling was coming out of the drivers door speakers with the stereo off and no key in the car. I lifted the positive side of the battery to reset the ECU. Once I reconnected the battery the noise returned. Very unusual problem. I don't know where to start. So I guess I will have to take it to the dealer. Has anyone seen this before? Thanks
