  1. That information won't be on the schematics as the lights are controlled by a control box..

What model and year car(s) - and what are you trying to do?

    Loren,

Oh ok... This is what i'm trying to do on a friend's 2008 turbo which is essentially convert the turn signals to white and run them as DRL's

  2. Does anyone know where I can find the wiring diagram and details for the 997TT front indicator lights? I want to do a project on rewiring the lights and am looking for the technical specs related to the lights (wattage, voltage, etc). Thanks

    Edwin

  3. Update: I cleared the error code on my brockway R1000 and it didn't come back. I have been driving it and noticed recently that when the car is running (rear decklid fan is on) but the moment I shut the car off, the fan shuts off. Is this right? I thought the cars fan should be running to keep the engine temp down? I noticed that 5 minutes after I shut off the car, the engine temp on my brockway unit was flashing at 194 degrees. The temp while driving seems normal (183 while driving but 189 while stopped at red lights). Does the error code (original post) have something to do with this? Thanks everyone

  4. Loren,

My friend has an 2002 996 NB cab and we installed a fixed wing on it. I read your thread about two different harnesses. Can you tell me which one I need?

    Edwin

996.612.070.10 is for the Cab spoilers.

    Loren,

Its an 02 996 cab and I got the 996.612.070.10 part as mentioned above

    Edwin

That is correct harness for a MY02 ("Carrera" wing) on a Cab.

That's odd then. I'm have no idea where to plug it into. Can anyone help? Thanks

    Loren,

I got the plug in and I checked the part number and it is correct. The harness looks like this... not really sure where to plug it in. Any help? Thanks

See the picture in the very first post of this thread.

One end goes into the connector on the right side of the engine compartment (near the tail light).

Pass the cable though harness guide and plug it into the socket on the spoiler/fan area.

    Loren,

This is the only connector that I see on the passenger side rear taillight. It has about 12 pins or something. Did I get the wrong harness?

    Loren,

I called Suncoast and they said it's titled "harness, stop light". Will this harness get rid of that spoiler malfunction warning light on the dash? Thanks

    Edwin

Yes, both the spoiler and all the rear lights run through the harness.

    Loren,

The fixed spoiler has a brake light on it too. Will the harness cut that light out too then?

  10. 1. Using a small screwdriver, carefully unclip both cover lenses at the openings provided.

    2. Undo fastening screws. Unclip cover at the rear left and right, push forward towards the windscreen and remove.

    3. Disconnect the electrical plug connection of the sliding roof rocker switch and the interior light.

    Installation is the reverse.

Thanks Loren. Appreciate the help as always

    Edwin
