  2. yup, alternator. been there, done that. lots of posts and threads here with identical symptoms. welcome... we've got the alternator t-shirts.... And what a frustrating t-shirt it was to get for me! :eek: Just went through that painful process and got my car back this morning. Nexus, please read Mike's advice on alternator repair...I wish I did before replacing mine. Take care, John Johnson
