  1. Manny, check out the Porsche Driving Experience in Birmingham AL. It is expensive, but they supply the car and you will learn much more then how to shift. You will get a real sense of how capable your car is on the track and skid pad.
  2. I had the same problem from day one with a new '04 C4S. Dealer checked the linkage and told me to phone if it pops out again. It did, I phoned, and they replaced the trans with a rebuilt unit from Porsche. Are you still under warranty? Is the SSK from Porsche or from aftermarket? This might make a difference in how you get the problem resolved with Porsche. I wish you good luck!
  3. :) I want to thank contributors to this forum for their opinions and advice. Recently, my '04 C4S required a new transmission as it would pop out of 2nd gear very infrequently. While in for this service, I had the dealer install PSE and the SSK. As others have said, these are the two best mods one can make to an already great car. Thanks folks!
  4. I think Porsche offers at least two styles of trickle chargers, but they function the same. My charger is all black plastic. When connected per directions the red light does go out. The first time I connected the charger, the light was on for about 18 hours.
