  1. ur front pic car rocks.... thank's it's the techart who do the job here's one to see where i have finnaly put the number plate but i also want the bigger width for the rear so what about the fender's cost?
  2. thank's man, could you please advice the cost for rear fenders, you buy it new or from dismantlers,i am really look into this conversion since anyway it involves some cutting and welding i also consider the width of c4s or turbo 997 but i preffer turbo fenders also for the look of the ducts
  3. nice ride man i'm interested to put the rear fenders too,996 or 997 turbo so can you give the info if your rear fenders are originally 996,or they are oem turbo's and converted for taillights? i have look the pic's and can tell precise, but the rear wheel look's pretty "inside" to me and i guess it might have the turbo width, wich i want it too
  4. they look great for that age! and.. you can allways use the bosch upgrade for late 996 and 997 ,i have tested several and those was the best goodlooking i was having at the begining the beru sparks ,they where goodlooking too but i was assuming that after 20k of working milles for the little sparks,a replacement is a must
  5. @1999 based upon my "feeling" :when i have replaced the old spark's(beru) with the iridium i was assuming simplly that the car will have a...new,high end tech..better spark the car was running different, the engine was feelt lazzy but sound "smoother" i put after 1 week the new updated bosch and car went back to normal. but it was a feeling for sure, i'm sure you understand you have quite some knowledgements as far as i can see.
  6. hello guys i have changed the exhaust and air filter to my '02 996 c2 manual gearbox, and start to think that an ECU optimization it might be ussefull, maybe for some extra power and make the engine to run at his ipotetic best potential i am from east europe and here the only option is to take her to the dyno and they can put a piggy back unichip module and adjust it accordingly to the dyno values of timming and a/f ratio, and i also have acces to a PIWIS(from local porsche) and i can use the dyno to take the measurements. any advice concerning this issue will be appreciate, especially that i see many user's here with a lot of skills.
  7. actually i have tryed this cheap mode with the last iridium ngk and i can tell 100% sure that it will fell like you win a couple of horses dead so i was forced to do the job again with a new 3gap set from bosch and is not a 5 min job
  8. hello people i use 19' techart on my c2 996 and i have noticed that 997 with same 19' techart have almost identical ride height but feel more stable on the road and especially in high speed corners and even if it is the same ride height the 997 had reduced the oversteer feeling at minimum despite the 996 wich still have a lot... Loren what is your opinion about wheel alignment numbers, should the 997 numbers work better for 996 then the gt3 2004 numbers?
