  1. After a month or two of searching and reading posts and articles on how to get my iphone 3G to play (and charge) through my CDR-220 I could not find any solutions that I cared much for. It was either a cable to play and another to charge, a cable to play but won't charge my iPhone 3G, FM static machines, cable needs adapter to charge iPhone 3G, have to get rid of your CDC to play your iPhone 3G . . . . . I figured there had to be a way that I could have a single cable, that played my iPhone 3G through the CDR-220 and charged it at the same time all while letting me keep my CDC. I know what many of you are saying about the CDC (I have read your posts), why do you want it . . . . . . I can not answer that question, it came in my car, I just wanted to keep it operational. I finally figured it out and have completed the process of installing a "contraption" that lets me play my iPhone 3G through my CDR-220, charge my iPhone 3G with the same cable and keep my CDC. It even lets me have an option of video out from my iPhone 3G for when I get around to installing a video monitor. It is a little pricey for a hack job (less than $100.00) but well worth it to me. If anyone is interested I probably can put together some kind of DIY or would be happy to answer questions. Please be patient, I am not on here a lot.
