  1. my mic is attached to the back of the plastic bit of the dome light, fits well...need to take a pic for you rather than trying to describe it...
  2. I had a problem similar to this and the installer had to re load the software on the dension. Might be something like this? Its only a five minute job but you need a laptop and the correct software on it.
  3. I have one fitted and they located the mic on the rear of the area where the internal light is. The wire is simply run behind the lining of the roof and down the A pillar. They located the box behind the glove box as it is quite big and may be a squeeze behind the PCM. This also means you can get at it easily if you have updates or want to use the memory card slot etc. Ipod cable runs in to the glove box. will try and get a pic of the mic for you later on.
  4. Does somebody out there have any idea where i could order a black coloured Carrera S logo for the rear of my car? I have a basalt black car and the silver badge keeps catching my eye - think it stands out a bit too much.
  5. I had this exact same problem. It turned out that it was the lining of the sun roof hitting against the surrounding roof area. My fix for it was to put a tiny piece of foam between the opening part of the sunroof and the metal side of the roof. Two second job and problem solved. Roof still opens fine as the foam does not need to be that thick. The piece i put in is about 15mm wide, 5mm thick and 5cm long. Before i figured it out Porsche had replaced two speakers thinking they were blown! The reason for this was that the noise also happened with heavy base from the speakers. Obviously when sun roof tilted up no noise.
  6. Turns out it was the switch itself that had died. Thanks for the reply anyway Loren. €16 job so not too bad!
  7. I have a RHD 07 997s, i recently noticed that the hazard warning light switch is not working. The indicators work fine and the double flash for the alarm also works. Its just the switch for the hazards. Any ideas what is the best way to go about fixing this? Does the hazard warning switch give trouble? Thanks Ray.
  8. I have owned both cars, (presently the 997 s), and can safely say that the porsche is way way way cheaper to run than an E92 M3.
  9. Fixed the problem I had with the Dension 500...took it out and installed a mObridge with bluetooth. All works as it should!
  10. Enzo, I am having the same problem as you had with the Dension. I have tried contacting Dension directly but have not really received any good suggestions from them yet. My firmware is 2.15 and dip switched are set correctly. Was there anything else that you adjusted in order to get the track names to display?
