  1. I had a similar service covered under emissions warranty on my Acura Integra. The VTEC solenoid was replaced which cured a similar condition to what you're describing. Not trusting any of the dealerships which sell $50k+ cars is a problem, don't you think? Find someone you can trust!
  2. The speakers I listed above are the same sizes as the stock speakers. As far as whether they'll drop in and just bolt right on, I am not sure. You might want to ask your local audio professional..
  3. Thanks! What about the optional rear speakers? I'm assuming they're 4" but that's just kind of a wild guess... The system I'm thinking about installing: Eclipse AVN2454 2-DIN navigation/CD/DVD/MP3 player replacing both the stock head unit and the useless cupholder in the upper console MB Quart RCE-210 4" 2-way component / coaxial system with .75" tweeter (Dash) MB Quart RWE-130 5.25" midrange drivers (doors) PNP rear speaker kit (for now, probably will replace these with the MB Quart Diskus series speakers) I may keep the amp from the factory, or I may upgrade to something like the Infinity Reference 7540a (139 watts RMS x 4 at 2 ohms) for the doors and dash. I also may decide I don't really think it's worth two grand for a head unit even if it does play DVDs and have navigation, and maybe go with something like the Kenwood KDC-MP6025 CD/MP3/WMA Receiver and add a music-keg for mp3 storage. Lots of options here if I decide I don't want navigation.
  4. Hello all. I'm wondering if anyone knows the dimensions of the speakers in the optional rear speaker system. I'm planning an audio upgrade, and I want the rear speakers, but would like to use a more high-end speaker than what comes with the kit. Thanks in advance! -Craig
