  1. I have a Carrera 4 GTS and put winter tires all around. The dealer found Pirelli Sotozero to fit my centerlock wheels. The backs are 295 vs 305s but seem to be working well. Excellent grip in the cold and wet. The are "mountain snowflake" certified as approved traction devices and I wouldn't think of putting chains on. Carreras are snow machines if shod appropriately and shouldn't need chains.
  2. My 2012 Carrera 4 GTS had a buzzing/rattle that I thought at first was coming from the speaker near the passenger side A pillar. More snooping around and I found that it was coming from the rearview mirror itself. It only occurred on certain road surfaces but happened every day while driving to work. Grabbing the rearview would make it stop for a bit. Since the weather has gotten warmer it has not been happening. If it returns in the fall/winter I might have the dealer replace the mirror.
  3. Hello all! I have a 2012 Carrera 4 GTS. I have seen videos online that show Carrera GTS with tail lights that are flashing in peculiar ways. The LEDs seem to be flashing and making patterns. It occurs for a short period of time. Has anyone else seen this. Under what conditions will the tail lights do this. I can't seem to produce it.
  4. When my wife noticed that our booster didn't fit she bought me the Porsche child seat. Pricey, over $200, but fits perfectly, looks good and I can keep it in the car and put the seatback down to hear the full bass from the subwoofer when the kids are not in it.
  5. Clear side markers...check. All red tail lights...check. Now all you need is to tint the windows! IMHO that will finish the job. Congrats.
  6. Hello all! I have lurked on this forum for some time while choosing my new car. A couple of months ago I found just what I was looking for and got a great deal on a new 08 C4S. :D I have a couple of questions for the group: First, I have the PSE option and I love the sound in sport mode! I don't like the two different throttle modes. <_< Is there a way to keep the off and on feature for the exhaust note and have only one throttle response for the engine? Secondly, the only other option I would consider would be the sport shifter. Has anyone gotten this option and not liked it. Any downside or concerns with this shifter? Thanks for your help. Enjoy the pics!
