    hi guys, have to replace my current C2 wheels after a brief interaction with a stiff corner ;) was thinking about a set of black turbo twist wheels on a red C2. don't really see these wheels in black very often on 996s. i've seen some on boxsters those that look really cool. http://www.tirerack.com/images/wheels/spor...3_bml_ci3_l.jpg was wondering what my fellow brethren thought though before making the purchase. these are the wheels that are on it now; however, the two good wheels that are left have some curb rash and scratches. http://www.classicdriver.com/upload/images...13392/img10.jpg thoughts? worth the change to the new wheel/color? thanks.

    hi there, was wondering about getting some wheel spacers for my '00 996 C2...was wondering what size bolt pattern to look for and a suggested size spacer. 8mm in front and 12mm rear? looking for a the simple, slip on spacers. worthwhile upgrade?

    * Note: just saw the previous thread same topic: http://www.renntech.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=21709 hi there, was wondering how concerning my noisy clutch should be. all still feels, works as usual but can really hear acuation of the clutch as i push it in. kind of like walking on an old wood floor. i've seen a tech notice about this and the resolution could be solved by lubing up the right areas. would that pretty much into a "take it into the shop" thing? i realize this could be a much bigger issue, but was hoping to get some feedback on some common issues in this area. thanks.

    my front discs will need to be changed soon and found a set of new, OEM front rotors from a 993 on craigslist. any ideas if those rotors will bolt right on to my 3.4 996?

    FYI. UPDATE: Called Becker and they referred me to their web site. Fill out their form and pay $30. So called local Porsche dealer, provided VIN and they looked it up for free. In short, Loren, your code was off by 1 number. Mine is 3040 instead of 3039. Just in case that helps you or anyone else out in the future. Scott Try 3039 or 3037
