  1. The replacement looked pretty straight forward. My car is currently in storage but will pick one up real soon and change it out before the driving season begins. Thanks again for tip! Joel
  2. Thanks for the clarification! I was able to get the carpeted cover off finally and the metal cover came off too with little work. The rib belt was in mint condition, glad to see that! Thanks for the reply. Joel
  3. I am trying to access the timing belt behind the seats and I am having a tough time removing the carpeted cover. Is there a trick to this? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Joel
  4. Thanks Grover! The article was helpful. The back end is so easy, why can't the front be the same! The pictures really help me since i don't always know the location of the part that is named. Joel
  5. Thanks for the quick reply. I did quite a bit of research on several sites and never got a definitive answer. Is it possible to lift the front end by jacking up the area behind the wheel directly under the springs? Thanks again. Joel
  6. I have a 2003 Boxster. Where is the best place to lift the front of the car to place jack stands to remove the front tires. I assume the jack stands should be positioned under the lift points on either side for the best stability. In the back I use the aluminum rails to lift the car, then place the jack stands, but don''t see anything quite that sturdy in front. Any advice would be appreciated. Joel
