  1. 44, Not sure what you mean I am using Durametric software and not familiar with DVOM, the O2 voltages are in the first data pictures above take a look. How do you force a reading? If you rev engine would this not acheive the same results? What do you consider a hard reset?
  2. What is O2 resistance showing? the O2 itself? F7. and 8 are bank 1, and F11/12 are bank 2. The second graph are of the voltages both sides.
  3. My main concern in the graphs Loren is that I do not want to run lean and not sure where I am at this point with the O2 voltages as my guide?
  4. Are both of these from the same sensor and which side is it? Left standing at back of car. And is it possible to test by swapping cables on O2's? Added some data of my Custom supercharger at idle from the duramatic realtime log. Note the before and after readings on O2's conv.
  5. I have had 2 error/fault codes: 1. P0134 code 10 - O2 sensor ahead of cat conv. 2. PO1115 code 13 -Heating power O2 s ahead of cat bank 1 Anyone venture a explanation/discription of these? Using Durametric software
  6. Well I'll be darned, no mention in the instructions thanks Stefan! it worked. Funny it's the little things that count, just donated to this site.
  7. Curious anyone know how to remove the MB Quart QSC 210 cover/grill? I just need the speaker to upgrade my system and I cannot see how the cover/Grill comes off? It has 4 screws under the grill that look like it is what is holding it to the speaker itself but that would make no sense. At a loss
  8. Even porscha scrathed their heads on connectors, the ones for the seat heaters are black and white I beleive. Regarding the cluster mine is not turning off (RPM, Speed digital lights). I want to try one to test but buyng it and it not being the problem would set me back unecessarily. Thanks for the help.
  9. Not sure if I have the PSM or TC is there a way I can check? It's a 2000 c2, I do have two extra (yellow) connectors not hooked up to anything in the center upper console and not sure if this would be used to turn on and off PSM? If I do not have PSM would that be the difference "warning light" for the instrument console?
  10. Thanks Loren but, can not see why it would not work either?
  11. Will a Instrument cluster for a 1999 c2 work in a 2000 c2 coupe? 99 is non egas.
  12. Local porsche fixit shops usually carry a variety of stuff.
  13. Does anyone know if the durametric scanner can data log realtime manifold pressure and A/F ratios for a 2000, 996? Thanks
  14. Have a feeling you are right. Wonder if can be repaired?
  15. Well my car was taken over to Porscha Dealer for them to reprogram the computers to my VIN which finally they did after they found out how to extract the Vin# off the original DME and put in my specs and when it was done it ran really bad missing and rough idle it took them another week to tell me they did not know what was going on because of all the custom stuff on the engine . Well told them thanks and off to Exotic Motorwerks where I had my engine installed for troubleshooting they use the Durmetric scanner and could see that cyls 1 & 3 where out of spec within the hour and then it came to me what must have happened since they where new injectors (42lbs), I covered the fuel in to injector rails with a ballon while my engine was out and some of the ballon disentergrated and logged in the injectors when I started the car "Let that be a lesson". There is a silver lining though the injectors where all removed cleaned flow tested and staged which makes the car run great except it will not hold idle. I am at a loss at the moment because in the comparison chart my injectors show 48 LBS compared to stock 27.2 Lbs which I installed 42LBS injectors. At this point I sure hope a UNICHIP can lean these puppies out . To date my car has put on close to 2000 miles on it by tow truck, the silver lining is for the first time I backed it into the driveway. :)
  16. My dash lights are staying on (RPM, Speed etc) and it is draining my battery is there a timer in the dash cluster that turns them off? Or what triggers them to turn OFF?
  17. For 2000 996 without hi-fi Could you lead me in the right direction for the radio harness adapter and PN#.. website.
  18. Yes, something was off I needed to find who's information was correct porscha or LA Dismantlers (Trust but validate theory) Porsche says wrong VIN and LA Dismatlers doubled checked and said it was correct. After finding out that the battery was on a charger during the programming phase I was out of options so I asked to double check the PN#s for my model and they are correct 605-00 and this was used on the 1999 C4 up to 2001 C2. Well I made one more call to LA Dismantlers and spoke with Todd which has been working on them for 20 years and just happened to have the Porscha Tech there and Tod told him how to extract the VIN from the DME from donor DME, he said using PWIIS that before you go into the programming area that he could go into the SYSTEM info and it would read out the DME VIN in the car which it did and YES it was different on what they told me on the phone from LA dismantlers earlier, anyway it is now reprogrammed with 2000 new data but it runs like crap. I am alittle weary of the porsche guys because when I went back in there where the cars are being worked on (my car was not present) the tech told me that the vins where completely different from what I gave him and what he read out via PWIIS. What came to my mind was this 1. Why did he not know how to do this. with 9 years experience And 2. How did he know the VIN"S where different without getting my car back in the shop and hooked up to PWIIS usless he could record past attempts at reprogramming. Not accusing just suggesting here. At present it is misfiring mostly 1, and 3, O2 sensor error on same bank the cams are showing no deviation readings along with the crank position "no readings at all" also fuel pressure was about 3.8 bar but it fluctuated allot. Well I should have taken pictures of the readings to post anyway that was enough frustration for one day. Thanks for everyones feedback.
  19. Thanks Loren at least I can make sure they are doing that, I hopefully will be talking with he Lead Tech soon. LA Porsche said that the car that the DME was out of was hit on the oppisite side, but since it still communictes I think the DME is alright. Just guessing here. And thanks for the qwik reply.
  20. The battery was full when I took the car there couple of weeks ago but maybe low now and yes it is a non-egas going in but porsxh says that is not a problem because they can reprogram with new 2000 settings
  21. Problem I installed a used DME/alarm/key out of a 1999 996 coupe into my 2000 996 coupe the dealer (porscha) says that they can communicate with the DME but it will not accept the Codes for that 1999 VIN and think it is not the right VIN # for the 1999. I called LA Porche back and they verified that is the right Vin number. Is there something I or they are missing. Any immediate help appreciated since they are awaiting a reply.
  22. You could try slightly bending the silver contact tab up (towards you) so the bulb makes better contact.
