  1. I finally got my Durametric in today. Plugged it in and the following fault codes came up. 0003- Upper Limit Value Exceeded 0103- Value Below Lower Limit Value 0303- Value Below Lower Limit Value Truck is a 2008 Cayenne S. 64,000 Miles. Truck is at a loss of power, changed the plugs and coils and still having the same. Anyone know where I can find more information on these codes,or know what the codes are? Thanks again.
  2. http://www.jackdanielsmotors.com/used/Porsche/2008-Porsche-Cayenne-0b8cbaad0a0a006401dd58d840bdd644.htm I went to go look at this 2008 Cayenne S. When i got there the truck wasn't there. It was actually in the service building getting some stuff done, one thing being the coolant pipes. I was told the pipes did not break but they were changing them while they were in there. Dealer wanted $29,995. Said he would do $29,000. What do you guys think,is this worth the buy? Also not sure i can afford an aftermarket warranty on this. The truck comes with a Lifetime PowerTrain warranty but from what the dealer told me is good for one time the life that you own the car up to $4,000. Let me know what you think,I will be going back there tomorrow to really look at the car and to go for a test drive. Thanks again!
  3. Hey guys. I tackled the job of changing out my leaky convertible top pistons. Job was easy went in and out and added fluid. When i went to test out the top it seemed to be out of wack. The latch wont open and close and body panel in the back doesn't open and close at the right time. I tested the latch and it does work so i'm guessing i need to take it to the dealer to be calibrated. Is that what you think the problem is or something else?
  4. I will do that. I hope it's nothing too major but who am i kidding haha.........
  5. Car is pretty much put away for the winter. I start it every week but I'm not going to take anything apart. I'll wait till it's warm to i can tackle that and the spark plug tubes........
  6. Awhile ago my top did not want to go up and down. After searching on the site I found out that my fluid was low. Filled it up and top worked fine for awhile but then would get low again. Avoiding the major problem i just keep filling the fluid up. Where is this fluid going? Do i have a bad piston or something? I've become a master at adding the fluid but would like to fix the problem before it gets any worse. Any help/information would be great thanks. Joe 1999 C2 Cabrio
  7. I was following the DIY thread step by step but when i got to removing the cylinder with the paper clip i could not get it out. It say to start in the seven o clock position i'm not dumb but that would mean get the dot on the bottom left when it it almost at the center on the top or in the 1-o-clock position. when i put the ley in and turn it hard to the left i can get the paper clip in pretty far then i can turn it alittle to right but the cylinder doesnt come out. i can not put the paper clip in after putting the key in and not turning it to the left it wont go in at all i really need some help please get back to me asap thanks a lot!!
  8. Thanks for this thread it just saved me a lot of money!!! Did it last friday. Top would open about half way then start making a high pitch winding sound after reading this i got the porsche fluid and followed the steps and it works fine now thanks again!!
  9. I was also wondering about this,i changed out my radio to a nice pioneer unit. I have to crank the thing almost all the way to get it at a decent volume. Ive changed the dash speakers and the rear speakers, will soon be doing the door speakers and was curious the if i bought say a 6 channel amp could i just get a wire diagram of all the wires going to the stock amp and just run them to the aftermarket amp?? In my other cars amp/ground/speaker wires were much thicker then the ones on the stock porsche ones. what do you guys think?
