  1. Uhhh Porsche 2 year warranty...No did not know about that. My warranty was through Fidelity services. Guess I should ask about the Porsche one too. as an aside I suppose that a new engine and clutch are supposed to get looser over time...the friction point seems higher in the release than it was when I first got it back. I gues i will take it in tomorrow to Pioneer Porsche Centers in San Diego. bummmer!
  2. My daily passion is a 2000 Carrera 996. I bought it just 6 mos ago and at 60K the original engine had an intermix between the oil and coolant. Warrantee company finally replaced the engine after 1.5 mos. I had a new clutch installed since it was all pieced out and torn apart. Clutch was tight and engine hummed nicely. I hit the twistys on the the way the palm springs for work a few times and have put about 2K miles on it in since getting back in mid february. It shifts fine, the clutch feels a little looser now, and purrs under load.....except upon slow manuevering at less than 3K rpm in 1st and 2nd it makes a noise at the right rear that sounds like lloose change in the engine. It does not make noise when not in gear, or when in gear not moving with clutch pressed it it makes Noise in reverse and in 1st and second when travelling slowly, or when letting the clutch out slowly. I first noticed it driving next to a wall with my passenger window down in a strip mall. Please help...I just got it back and cannot miss it for another month...I had to drive a ford focus during that time.
