  1. Hi all, This may be a noob question, but I am in position to obtain an '82 911 SC, which has the 3.0L. Is it possible to swap in (with fabrication if necessary) a turbo from the 3.3L? Thanks, Steve *UPDATE* I found a nifty thread on Pelican forums from a very knowledgeable guy who did the conversion with an old BAE turbo kit on his 3.0L: http://forums.pelicanparts.com/showthread....ht=911+SC+turbo
  2. Hi, I've searched for someone with the same problem, but to no avail. What I have is similar to what others have had, one side of the clam shell raises, while the other side stays put. I suspect, as others have found, that it is a broken cable, though I cannot see in there. As I tried to manually loosen the clam shell to see if it was just stuck on something, the linkage between the shell itself and the mechanism broke. Is this a dealer fix or can I order that specific part and install it myself? Also, I do not see how to get to the linear actuators to pop them off to lower the top manually, I may be blind. Thanks!
