  1. I have sent two emails with info on my 996 turbo to join the registry but have not had an answer. Anybody know the secret to getting on the turbo registry? Thanks in advance for the assistance.
  2. I am assuming you do not have the x-50 power kit on your car. Given the mods you have made and without an ECU flash I think you are about right for boost at this point. With a flash you might see 1.0 - 1.1 max and you should consider changing the plugs to match your more aggressive set up. I would be careful about going for a higher boost without changing injectors etc. Others with more knowledge will add to this comment. Good luck.
  3. Dennis - best info I have indicates that a total of 1558 turbo S's were produced in 2005 (598 were coupes and 960 were cab's). Not sure how many went to the US but I will guess about 60%. The last ones were built in June 2005. That is when mine was produced - I think mine is one of the last ones off the production line - my VIN # ends with 5815.
  4. I have just installed the PSS10's on my car - 30K miles - and the ride is much improved! I have then set at 5 front and 5 rear and am really happy with the feel and ride of the car. I also lowered the car to ROW - 10mm height and the car looks better and really is smooth over even bumpy roads. It is a personnel choice but I like the PSS10!
  5. I am 61 and drive a 996 Turbo S Cab every day! Puts a smile an my face and makes me feel 20 years younger. It is a great all weather, all season auto!
  6. Hi Sam - is this a commercial CD? If it has a label that is glued on to the surface of the CD these labels can sometimes detach a little and foul up the eject process. Try a very thin blade inserted at the upper part of the CD opening and very gently try to guide the CD out while pushing the eject button. It may take a few time to get it too work. I have had success with this technique in the past. Good luck
