  1. Hello, I'm new to this forum. In the next two months I plan on buying a Porsche 996 carrera 2. I am aiming towards a 2002 facelifted coupe with a manual transmission in silver with a black interior. Also what are the improvements over the facelifted 996s compared to the 99-01? Are there many improvements in terms of quality and reliability? I have already seen many for sale around my area for under $50k with under 50,000 miles and they seem like great deals. Though I think it is possible to negotiate for several thousands less. Especially since 997s are out. So I would highly appreciate any advice that would help me on my purchase. Thanks for your support
