  1. Hi there, many thanks for your reply, ive checked all the oil pipes and they are clear, ive also checked the scavenge pump is working correctly,it seems as if the turbo is getting too much oil and cant get rid of it if that makes sense
  2. Hi there im having a similar problem with a997tt,did you get to the bottom of it??????
  3. hi all,im a new member with a nasty problem, wondering if there are any specialists on here who may be able to help. Firstly i am a trained mechanic but cant get to the bottom of this one, here goes, its a2007 997 tt,its been overfilled with engine oil by about 3litres and then driven for about 60 miles whilst smoking,on pulling the vehicle apart to clean the intercoolers etc found that the nearside intercooler pipes literally were full of oil.i then removed, cleaned or replaced as necessary the intercoolers, inlet pipes, catalysts, exhaust, lambda sensors and obviously put the correct amount of oil in. I then ran the vehicle on idle to clear any excess left in the exhaust,it ran perfect apart from a little bit of smoke but after about ten minutes oil was once again filling up the nearside intercooler pipe as oil was being pulled through the turbo,i assumed turbo seals and ordered a new unit fromPorsche.I fitted the new unit and once again cleaned everything but it is still doing the samething. Ive checked the obvious things ie remove oil cap whilst running to check the breathing and spoken to a so called expert on these cars but no luck. If anyone has any ideas could you please contact me,many thanks
