  1. I have a set of Fabspeed 2ndary Cat Bypass Pipes I just took off my 06 Cayenne S that I am looking to sell. If you want to use them as a model to have pipes bent the same as these, I will sell them to you or anybody else for $300. Let me know if you have any questions.
  2. Nevermind...I found the place to post things for sale. Sorry for not searching more thoroughly!
  3. I have a set of Fabspeed Cat Bypass pipes that i just removed from my 2006 Cayenne S and am looking to sell. I didnt see a "classifieds" section on here so if anybody knows of a good place to advertise these pipes for sale or if anybody is interested...let me know. Sorry If its against the rules to post items for sale here... They have 5k on the pipes and are in perfect condition! Asking $400 plus shipping. Thanks guys.
  4. Hey guys, I used the DIY Changing Brake Pads section on here to change my front pads on my 06 Cayenne S and it went beautifully! Thanks to Loren and Mudman for their input and all others...saved myself some cash! Now I am trying to do the back set of pads but the caliper pins on the back are different than the front and there is no way to grip them. I tried using a hammer and center punch/screw driver but couldnt get it to budge. It appears it may be rusted or so much brake dust has accumulated that its stuck. Anybody with ideas on how to loosen the back pins?? I am at a loss. Thanks!
  5. Thanks Loren, you saying I should have used a different brand or that all bypass pipes will sound that way?
  6. I have a 2006 Cayenne S and just had secondary Catbpypass pipes installed from Fabspeed. The car sounds great when you sit and blip the throttle. But if i roll the windows down and accelerate hard, I noticed that around 3000-3500 RPMs I get a tinny vibration sound. Once it shifts to the next gear, its gone. Its only evident during a hard acceleration. Could this be from pipes not installed properly? Bad/Loose Exhaust system? My buddy said it sounds like a Glass Pack muffler or Cherry Bomb muffler. Its not the ideal sound id like...any input??? Thanks
  7. So I finally took my Cayenne S to the dealer and as soon as I told them what happened a tech ran out to my car and within 2 minutes did and electrical reset and I was good to go! Apparently during transport, the Nav can go off line, for whatever reason. The nice thing is the dealer then washed and vacuumed out my car for me and I walked out without spending a dime.
  8. Just outta curiosity, did you make sure there is no DVD disk already inside of the unit? (although I have a feeling that you probably have done this already) or have you tried this? master reset http://www.renntech.org/forums/index.php?s...hl=master+reset Good luck! Thanks Mudman and PCST, I did push the eject button on numerous occasions but to no avail. My guess now is that i may have an issue with the DVD player because its non responsive. I will try the master reset and get back to you. Appreciate the input. Glad there is a good resource of knowledge. Thanks again!
  9. I just picked up a 2006 Cayenne S from a wholesaler today. It was a lease return and I got a good price on it. I was dissapointed however when I started the Cayenne and I received System Error: Navigation is unavailable on my PCM. I looked through my manuals and quickly found my Nav DVD and went to insert into the Nav DVD deck under the passenger seat. I tried to insert the DVD but the unit will not accept it, almost as if the power was off. Now I could be making a simple mistake here or missing something obvious, but does anybody have input or experience with this? Thanks!
  10. I am having the same system error message but with my Navigation System. I tried inserting the Nav DVD into the Navigation deck under the front passenger seat but it wont accept it, almost as if the power to the Navigation deck is off. Anybody with advice?
  11. Did you ever go with a Nav system for your Cayenne? I am i the same boat and wanting to put in something nicer on my 06. Let me know what you ended up doing and if you are happy with your decision. Thank you.
  12. :welcome: I think a cold air intake on a normally aspirated car is a waste of money. Regardless of what the maker may claim any horsepower increase will be quite small. None of these have ever been shown to make more than 2-5 HP in testing and some even cause loss of mid-range torque. A turbo engine is a different story. Thanks for the advice...would you suggest a Cat Bypass and Chip then or do you feel they would fall into the same category as the cold air intake? Those will make a difference on turbo car but not a normally aspirated engine. You will not get much more HP (less than 20) out of a normally aspirated modern Porsche engine. What are you trying to accomplish? Well, I got a great deal on an 05 Cayenne but its a V6. I knew the hp would be lacking when I bought it but I couldnt pass it up. I am just looking for the best way to increase horsepower with out having to sell it and go get the V8. Anything you would recommend? I have been an Audi guy for years but just made the switch this week...still learning. Thanks for the help!

  14. I have looked online and cant seem to find good information on this topic. Does anybody know of a good Cold Air Intake for my 2005 Cayenne V6? I am looking to upgrade exhaust and put a chip in but want to know if I am considering all my options. Anybody with personal experience or opinion??? Thanks!
