  1. Anyone successful with this tutorial? I am in the middle of it right now. Not sure why the rear grab rails (backseat passenger) need to be removed. Seems like in addition to the rear headliner piece, you also need to remove the c pillar trim and unclip part of the main headliner in order to have full access to the bonded cover and the struts behind it. Any precautions to take with respect to the airbag? Or unclipping the main headliner? Can't really see where it is clipped.
  2. 0w-40 is what I was told. Here is what I learned doing the process. I topsided most of the oil out thru the dipstick as I didn't feel like using my large oil drain pan. I only had to remove the rear underside panel to gain access to the filter and pan. I was concerned about oil hitting it, but on the jackstands it was not an issue. Plus you can apply light pressure to the front panel to get it out of the way if it becomes an issue. Mine didn't. I too drained the filter and then what was left in the pan at the same time. Prior to pulling the filter cap off, I grabbed a gallon size freezer bag and placed it around the filter cap to catch additional oil. Worked like a charm.
