    Yes. I hit .6 regularly. Not in every gear, but I do get full boost.

    Yes, the sound can be heard with or without the a/c turned on.

    Thanks Loren. I actually had the Power Steering reservior changed, but that was a high pitched whining sound. That problem was resolved. The sound that i am hearing is more of a howling sound only at cruising rpms.

    Sorry if this has been addressed before. I have done a lot of searching and am at a loss at this point. Car is stock 2003 6Speed with aftermarket DV's and BMC air filter. 23k Miles. I am consistently hearing a howling noise that can be best described as air rushing through a pipe (kind of like when you blow air across a bottle opening). I think it is coming from the rear passenger side. This happens in 3rd-6th gear when the RPMs are in the 2700-2800 range and I am cruising with little throttle (no boost registering on the instrument panel). I brought the car to the shop and the car was diagnosed with a faulty diverter valve, so I had them changed with aftermarket DV's. I also had the power steering reservoir changed as it was squealing. Still the sound continues. It is quite annoying because the howling sound is constant while under cruising RPMs. Any other ideas of what I should look into? Thanks! Also, sorry for the newbie TT question, but is it normal to hear a similar winding down/ air rushing out a pipe sound when exiting the hwy onto off-ramps even when the car is not showing boost?

    btw, my car was sold with a PORSCHE Certified Warranty, not a dealer warranty.

    I am selling my car now and the person doing a PPI on my car is saying that the car has been resprayed. I knew nothing of this when I bought the car as a CPO in 2004. The dealer is saying to me that Porsche allows up to 2 panels per side to be resprayed and still allow them to CPO the car. Is this true?

    I just ordered a set of lloyd mats from automotion.com tonight for $109 (front 2 mats). Lloyd is the same people that made the OEM mats for my 99. I'll let you know what I think of them when they make it in.

    my passenger seat spring came loose today (the one that pulls the seat backwards when adjusting the leg room). Does anybody have a picture/schematic that shows where I re-attach the spring? btw: 99 996 TIA

    I am looking for the upper console "pocket" to replace my useless tape holder. It needs to be the squared off piece. All that I can find on Ebay are the lower pockets. Would someone please let me know the part number for this? Better yet, does someone have one that they would like to get rid of? Thanks! Jarrod

    I bought mine from same guy on eBay, 5th-gear and I compared with Ruf, and TechArt. Quality are almost same and I give BIG thumbs up to 5th-gear guys. any comments on the rubber pads? How long have you had them installed?

    I saw these pedals being advertised on 6speedonline. Any thoughts Pros/Cons or better yet anyone have these in their car?     I am bringing in my 99 c2 for its 60K servicing and I want to have the mechanic do a FULL inspection as my CPO Warranty will run out this summer. Any suggestions as what to look for? What are the most commom things to go wrong? Thanks Jarrod

    I had the same problem on my 99. After initial startup the car would be fluffy and feel like it wasnt getting enough gas when I would take off. Since then my CEl came on and the dealer replaced the MAF sensor and all things were perfect. About 2 weeks later it started back up though. Im not sure what to do. I will admit that i have only been running 91 octane because i cant find 93 around here. Jarrod
