  2. Hello : My question today is : When doing the brake fluid flush ( 60 k service, no changing of parts ) on a 1997 986 with abs/tc 5.3, Is it necessary to use the PST 2 ( to open the return pump and hydraulic solenoid valves ) as described in the bentley service manual, or is this procedure only used when changing out a brake component ? The instructions only talk about working the right rear valve ( bleeder ? ). I ordered the durametric this week for another issue, but it doesnt look like it will support the brake bleed process. Is it possible to supply 12 volts to these two solenoid valves through a terminal plug to open them up ? Any input would be apriciated. Thanks : Norm
  3. Hi, I just bought my first porsche, 97 boxter 58000 mi. Just after passing emission and saftey inspection the air bag light came on. This happened upon start up in the driveway, I noticed it right after the pasengers sealt belt was connected. My question is this : Is there anyone in the Chicopee Mass area (01020) that has purchased the durametric software and would be willing to help me diagnose the fault. I would be willing to make a contribution towards your purchase. Thanks : Norm 413.427.8514
